jake the escaping Bull

Jake, our Bull is notorius for escaping. Eric and I turned the cows out to pasture yesterday afternoon, and I got home from work today, with a sick baby in tow, and low and behold.. Jake is out!

Anyone have any ideas of how to keep a gentle, brangus bull from escaping?

exciting news!

NO, IM NOT PREGNANT.... I know some of you were secretly wishing I was... I have been in close contact with the DEAN of Eastern Arizona College, as he has asked me to teach a COLLEGE welding class this fall. I haven't said yes or no yet, there is still quite a bit to be discussed, but its pretty cool that I am a GIRL and they want me to teach a WELDING class!

loves

Case LOVES animals, here he is with Clyde, my jack russell terrier

need I say more?

Baseball

Eric is now coaching baseball at the high school so there is always a loose baseball in my truck, as well as all over the house, outside, well, you get the point. On the way to church Case was ancy, so I gave him a baseball and he had a grand time with it!

toys are sooo over rated

who needs toys when you have sprinklers and horseshoes and rock walls? Case doesn't need toys! This afternoon after church, the weather was actuallly nice for the first time in a week, so we took advantage of it and played outside.. err, Case played outside and I cleaned the front yard. Here are some fun pictures of Case enjoying himself!

discovering the horseshoe (after knocking off the railroad nails and sprinkler, which lay beside his feet)

yes, it really IS a horseshoe.

MMMMmmmm... it tastes goood too! (Cases' idea of a teether)

Life in the country..

We love the life we live, we are happy, and home is where we have placed our hearts, here in the small town of Sheldon.
