Case and Mom day
Today Case went with me on some SAE visits. We chased cows horseback, chased geese and drove with a student in a semi truck that he rebuilt. Lots of fun today!

2 year old logic
the logic of a 2 year old cracks me up.
today on the way home, we had a conversation.
M: I have to go potty when we get home! Do you need to go potty?
C: (shaking his head) no, I have my hat on!
M: So when you have your hat on, you don't have to go potty?
C: yea, my hat covers me up!
so if you ever need to go potty, just put on a hat!

the quilting bug..
my mom quilts. all of my aunts quilt. both grandmas quilt.
I swore up and down I never would, that it was not for me.
However, I have been bitten by the quilting bug and I am so excited. I am ordering fabric, thread, kits, and more!
So far I have made 2 baby quilts, a bib, a number of burp rags in different shapes and sizes, a baby crinkle toy and 1 baby blanket.
I soon will be expanding my project list to:
- jewelry envelopes (christmas presents)
- wine or sparkling cider cozy (more christmas presents)
- quilt as you go quilt
- log cabin quilt
- table runner
so I will be busy busy!

my wonderful
This week has felt like we were hit with a train. A really big one. twice.
Eric is been really strong through the whole thing, he loves his grandpa dearly and would be ripped apart if anything happened to him, but he was strong the whole time we were visiting Grandpa Udell.
He helped hold me together on Tuesday when our world was ripped apart and he has been such a wonderful support.
He is my faithful cowboy, Cases' "police car man" and our favorite man.
I love him.

Grace
this afternoon while I was resting, I had a dream. My dream was about Grace. That is what we named our little girl who now rests in Jesus' arms in heaven.
I had a dream that we (Eric, Case and myself) went on a tour of heaven and we got to see Grace. She was precious, even though she was so tiny, she was perfect. All of her fingers and toes were formed perfectly, she had little bits of brown hair and her eyes were closed, but she was completely formed. Jesus was holding her in his arms and Case said, "thats my sister" and Jesus said, "you're right." Then Case said, "I want to hold her" and Jesus said, "ok". So after Case held her and we got to see how perfect she was and how loved she was by her heavenly father, we knew that she was in the safest place she could be.
I am thankful that we have such a wonderful faith in Jesus and that he takes care of us from conception. I am thankful that baby Grace is in heaven and that she will always be our little girl.

Life in the country..
We love the life we live, we are happy, and home is where we have placed our hearts, here in the small town of Sheldon.
