Life in April at the McSpadden place!

What we have done this month... Or should I say, what Case has done this month....

worn Dads' cowboy hat and learned to take off and put on his boots

Become friends with Duke

Driven the tractor with Dad

walked the plank a few times....

attempted to use the pipe cutter, on the pipe vice.. not a good idea!

learned how to throw rocks with Dad

blown out birthday candles with Gramma

eaten yummy cake

ridden on his new Porter saddle

smiled a lot!

hung out in the oats field with mom

played in the water with Duke

made silly faces with Nana!

enjoyed times with all the family who came to the party this weekend!

Easter Sunday

We started off the morning down in the field, looking to see if we had an Easter Baby from Mollie, but she is still preggo, so instead Case needed a ride on his Pearlie.

He then let her kiss his head and snuggle his shoulder.

Case loves both horses, he calls them "EEker and Pearlie"

When I was making breakfast, Case noticed his reflection in the oven door, so he was checking out his pansa.

we just have enjoyed a nice Sunday at home together today.

April 2 - 2010

we went to Globe to celebrate Paps' 97th birthday! Since the party was during easter weekend, we colored eggs and it was a fun time! 

Case colored his first egg green, and we were watching it and trying very hard to not touch it!

we had to keep Case entertained while the eggs were being dyed, so he played with a pen.

The finished products! so fun!

Flashback....

I was just looking at our wedding album and must say this is one of my most favorite pictures of me and Eric. He is such a handsome dude!  We both look so young!

what we are thankful for this month

This month has been so busy, we just wanted to let you know what we are thankful for:

Thank you to all of our family who we love so much, we are thankful for all of you and all you have done for us and with us over the years.

Land of the Poppies...

For Cases' 2nd birthday, Papa Udon and Kim Grama, as Case calls her came down for the day and we had so much fun! We started with burgers for lunch and then spent the afternoon cruising around the hills behind our farm.

We found some beautiful poppies, Case thought they smelled good.
